The International Cricket Council (ICC) is expected to announce a new model for the Champions Trophy on Saturday, December 7.
According to sources, the ICC and the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) have shown signs of flexibility following the Pakistan Cricket Board’s (PCB) steadfast stance.

Reports suggest that a breakthrough is on the horizon, with plans to implement a hybrid model for the next three years. Under this arrangement, Pakistan would refrain from traveling to India for ICC events.
Indian media has claimed that the PCB’s proposal has been accepted, although the ICC’s critical meeting on Thursday in Dubai concluded without reaching an official decision.
