The ongoing hostilities in Gaza have resulted in heavy casualties and destruction. Recent Israeli attacks have killed at least three Palestinians and injured nine others, targeting two homes in northern Gaza. This comes amid intensified Israeli military operations across Gaza, which have resulted in the deaths of at least 26 Palestinians on November 28, 2024, as well as widespread displacement and a worsening humanitarian crisis.

The violence has escalated since the beginning of Israel’s offensive, with the United Nations warning of an imminent famine as over two million residents face severe shortages of food, clean water, and other basic necessities. The UN also reports that the majority of the casualties are women and children.
International condemnation of Israel’s actions continues, with calls for accountability from bodies like the International Criminal Court (ICC) and the International Court of Justice, which are investigating potential war crimes. Despite calls for peace and ceasefire agreements, such as the recent Israel-Hezbollah truce, there has been no significant progress in halting the violence in Gaza.
