Four new cases have been filed in Rawalpindi against PTI leaders and supporters for their involvement in the November 24 protest in Islamabad. Among those named in the FIRs are PTI founder Imran Khan, Bushra Bibi, Aleema Khan, Ali Amin Gandapur, Omar Ayub, Hammad Azhar, Asad Qaiser, and Arif Alvi. With these new cases, the total number of registered cases in Rawalpindi and Islamabad has risen to 16, with eight cases filed in each city.
The cases in Rawalpindi have been lodged at multiple police stations, including Dhamial, New Town, Wah, Saddar, and Taxila, the latter of which also includes a case related to the killing of a police officer. The charges include violations under the Anti-Terrorism Act, attempted murder, and interference with government operations. The FIRs claim that an unlawful assembly was organized by PTI leaders, which led to disruptions in daily life, road blockages, and anti-state slogans. The protesters are also accused of attacking the police with sticks and stones.

In addition, the FIRs mention the recovery of various items from the scene, including government wireless devices, tear gas shells, sticks, bullets, slingshots, and three vehicles used by the suspects. Similar cases have also been filed in Islamabad, with various police stations naming PTI leaders such as Bushra Bibi, Ali Amin Gandapur, Salman Akram Raja, and Sheikh Waqas, as well as thousands of unnamed individuals.
