Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister, Ali Amin Gandapur, declared that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) sit-in at Hadi Chowk in Islamabad will continue until Imran Khan issues further instructions. Gandapur emphasized that the protest is peaceful and a rightful demand for justice, despite government interference. He condemned the government’s use of live ammunition against PTI supporters, labeling it as fascist and accusing authorities of two and a half years of oppressive tactics against the party.

Gandapur expressed dissatisfaction with both the judiciary and parliament, claiming they have ignored PTI’s concerns. He stressed that every peaceful protest or meeting organized by PTI has faced obstruction from the government. The government’s violent response to PTI’s protests, he said, only reinforced the party’s resolve to continue fighting for democratic rights, even though they face suppression.

Reflecting on the sacrifices made by PTI workers, Gandapur highlighted the loss of lives in past protests. Despite these hardships, he affirmed that PTI’s commitment to their cause remains firm. The ongoing sit-in has become a symbol of PTI’s defiance, and Gandapur concluded that the protest will continue until the party’s demands for justice and political change are addressed.
