Zimbabwe Cricket Announces Squads for Pakistan Series

The Zimbabwe Cricket Board has named a dynamic and well-rounded squad for the upcoming series against Pakistan, which will take place in Bulawayo from November 24 to December 5. The series will consist of three One-Day Internationals (ODIs) and three T20 Internationals (T20Is), offering a thrilling contest between the two teams.

Zimbabwe’s squad for the Pakistan series blends emerging talent with experienced campaigners, as the team aims to build on recent successes and take on one of cricket’s strongest teams.

Uncapped Players in Zimbabwe’s ODI Squad

For the ODI series, Zimbabwe has included three uncapped players: Trevor Gwandu, Tashinga Musekiwa, and 21-year-old Tinotenda Maposa. While Gwandu and Musekiwa have previously played for Zimbabwe in T20I cricket, Maposa has yet to make his international debut. The young fast bowler has impressed in domestic cricket, taking 4 wickets in 3 List A matches at an economy rate of 6.29, making him a key prospect for the pace attack.

Despite these promising new additions, Zimbabwe’s ODI squad remains solid with seasoned players. Craig Ervine, who will captain the team in the ODI format, leads a squad that features stalwarts like Sikandar Raza, Sean Williams, and Blessing Muzarabani, providing vital experience and stability.
