Pakistan’s civil-military leadership will convene on Monday for a high-level meeting to review the implementation of the National Action Plan (NAP).
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will chair the Apex Committee meeting, focusing on bolstering internal security amid a surge in terrorist attacks across the country.

The meeting will include key figures such as Chief of Army Staff General Asim Munir, the Director-General of ISI, and other intelligence agency heads. They aim to assess NAP’s progress and decide on measures to enhance counter-terrorism efforts and maintain law and order.
Discussions will prioritize improved coordination between federal and provincial governments and strengthening intelligence sharing among security agencies. Significant measures to address terrorism and fortify national security are expected to be approved.
