The price of 24-karat gold in Pakistan has decreased by Rs.500 per tola, bringing the current rate to Rs.283,200, down from Rs.283,700. The All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association reported that the price for 10 grams of 24-karat gold also fell by Rs.429, now standing at Rs.242,798, compared to the previous price of Rs.243,227. Additionally, the price for 10 grams of 22-karat gold decreased to Rs.222,565, down from Rs.222,958.
In contrast, silver prices remained unchanged, with the price of per tola silver steady at Rs.3,430, while the price for 10 grams was recorded at Rs.2,940.67.

On the international front, gold prices fell by $5, trading at $2,736 per ounce. Despite the decline in global gold prices, local markets exhibited stability in silver prices.
In today’s trading session, the Karachi Stock Exchange saw a modest increase, with the index currently at 92,168.60, reflecting a rise of 230.60 points or 0.25%. The session began with the index reaching a high of 92,514.30 before dipping to a low of 91,536.09. A total of 244,630,758 shares were exchanged during the day, with the previous close at 91,938.00, and the total value of shares traded amounting to Rs.19,300,027,733.
