Donald Trump’s recent visit to a McDonald’s in Feasterville-Trevose, Pennsylvania, has stirred controversy on social media, with critics accusing the event of being “staged” and “fake.” During the visit, Trump was seen working the fry station and serving drive-thru customers as part of his campaign in Bucks County, a key swing area.

Shortly after the event, social media users began sharing images of a circular posted outside the McDonald’s, indicating the branch was closed on October 20, 2024. Ron Filipkowski, a user on X (formerly Twitter), shared the image, claiming the event was staged, as the location was not open to the public during Trump’s visit.

The circular explained that the branch had been closed at Trump’s request but emphasized the visit’s purpose to highlight the positive impact of small businesses. Despite this, accusations persisted, with some users sharing images of cars and drivers rehearsing before Trump’s appearance, further fueling claims that the event was orchestrated for campaign purposes.

Critics argued that the rehearsals and the closed branch demonstrated the artificiality of the event, accusing Trump’s team of staging it for political gain rather than a genuine interaction with the public.
