Gold prices continued to soar in Pakistan’s domestic market on Saturday, driven by rising global rates.
According to data from the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of gold per tola increased by Rs900, reaching a record high of Rs281,800. Similarly, the price for 10 grams of gold surged to an all-time high of Rs241,598, reflecting a gain of Rs772.

In the international market, gold also saw an increase, gaining $9 per ounce and trading at $2,721.
Additionally, silver prices in Pakistan rose by Rs50 per tola and Rs42.87 per 10 grams, with new prices set at Rs3,150 and Rs2,700.62, respectively. The previous day, gold had already climbed by Rs700 to reach Rs277,900 per tola, while the 10-gram price had increased by Rs600 to settle at Rs238,254.
