This follows Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly’s statement in July that fuel prices would steadily rise until the end of 2025 due to the government’s inability to continue subsidizing fuel amid rising demand. The fuel pricing committee, which typically meets quarterly, announced its next review will occur in six months.
