KP Government Offers Internships to Overseas Pakistani Medical Students

During a point of order in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Assembly, the Chief Minister’s aide stated that internships for medical students who earned degrees from overseas institutions are being offered on a limited basis across the province’s teaching medical institutions, with selection based on merit. He highlighted that limited seats and financial constraints were significant challenges in this process.

Earlier, MPA Abdul Salam raised concerns, stating that denying paid house jobs to overseas medical students at teaching institutions in KP was a severe injustice. He called for paid house job opportunities to be provided to all eligible doctors.
