Gold Prices in Pakistan Drop Significantly

Gold prices in Pakistan fell on Tuesday, mirroring a decline in the global market. According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of 24-karat gold decreased by Rs700 per tola, settling at Rs275,000. Additionally, the price of 10-gram 24-karat gold dropped by Rs600, bringing it to Rs235,768.

On the international stage, gold prices also experienced a downward trend, with a $6 decrease, leaving the price at $2,653 per ounce. While gold saw some fluctuation, the silver market in Pakistan remained stable, with prices holding steady at Rs3,050 per tola.

Just last month, gold had reached a record high of Rs277,000 per tola in Pakistan, driven by global market volatility.
