The tragic incident occurred after Jahangir became enraged when his mother rejected his desire to marry a girl of his choosing. Overcome with anger, he resorted to violence, leading to her death.

Following the incident, District Police Officer (DPO) Pakpattan and a police team arrived at the scene and arrested Jahangir. A murder case has been registered, and the DPO assured that the accused will face legal punishment.
