The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has confirmed that ongoing internet disruptions and slow speeds will be resolved by the end of October.
PTA officials revealed that the Web Management System (WMS) installation and upgrade are expected to be completed by October 20. The WMS will also enhance protection against internet attacks.

The upgraded system will manage a capacity of 8 to 9 terabytes.
According to officials, the installation process for the management system started in 2019.
