The ministry emphasized that this sentence serves as a warning to individuals involved in drug trafficking within the Kingdom. In a similar case in July, Saudi authorities executed another Pakistani national, Gul, in Riyadh for heroin smuggling, following a death sentence that was also upheld by higher courts. These cases reflect Saudi Arabia’s strict stance on drug-related offenses.
