Meta’s WhatsApp is set to introduce a new feature for iOS users, allowing them to forward messages and media within channels, following its recent announcement for Android users. This update, included in the “WhatsApp for iOS 24.13.79” release, is designed to streamline the sharing process on the platform.
According to WABetaInfo, WhatsApp is publicly testing this feature, enabling channel owners to forward messages, photos, videos, and GIFs from any channel to their own with ease. Users can explore this by selecting their own channel in the forwarding picker screen when forwarding a message from another channel.
