Australian cricketer Nathan Lyon predicted that the final of the ICC T20 World Cup 2024 will be contested between Australia and Pakistan.
He highlighted Pakistan’s strong spin bowlers and notable batting talent, including Babar Azam, as advantages in the conditions of the West Indies and USA.

Meanwhile, Indian batting legend Sunil Gavaskar and former Australian captain Aaron Finch forecasted the semi-finalists for the tournament. In an interview with an Indian sports channel, Gavaskar selected India, England, Australia, and the West Indies to reach the semi-finals.
Finch concurred, naming the same four teams for the last four spots.
