The Foreign Office spokesperson confirmed that the Pakistani embassy has brought up Mona Khan’s arrest with Greek authorities, requesting consular access. The embassy is actively seeking information on the reasons behind her arrest and is maintaining communication with her running coach, Malik Yousaf.

Coach Malik Yousaf revealed that Mona Khan arrived in Athens two days prior to participate in a hiking event. However, she was arrested shortly after her arrival and taken into custody.
