106-Year-Old Man Achieves Title Of Oldest Skydiver

This surpasses the previous record-holder by over three years.

Blaschke initially set the record in 2020, leaping from a plane at an altitude of 14,000 feet to commemorate the college graduations of his twin grandsons. Remarkably, this was only his second time skydiving, with the first occurring on his 100th birthday, three years earlier.

Motivated by a Swedish woman named Rut Linnéa Ingegärd Larsson, who broke his record in 2022 at the age of 103 years and 259 days, Blaschke decided to attempt another skydive.
