Although Uber has not disclosed the reasons behind its withdrawal from Lahore, it is offering a compensatory discount on Careem, another ride-sharing service. Customers can utilize the code LHR50 to avail a 50% discount on their next five rides with Careem.
In an email sent to Lahore customers, Uber stated, “We’ve made the difficult decision to no longer offer the Uber app services in Lahore as of April 30, 2024. Ride-hailing services will continue to be offered through our subsidiary brand Careem, and you will have the option to sign up and request a trip on Careem to have a seamless experience.”[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
