The authority served a notice to the marketing firm for its promotion of nine unauthorized housing projects through an ongoing advertising campaign.
The Metropolitan Planning and Traffic Engineering (MP&TE) Directorate of RDA issued the notice, instructing the marketing company to cease its advertising campaign related to the nine housing schemes that lack proper authorization and legality.

The spokesperson for RDA emphasized that Director General Jappa had explicitly directed relevant authorities to take legal measures against advertising campaigns promoting illegal housing societies. It was underscored that a housing project cannot be deemed approved or legal without obtaining a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from RDA.
The spokesperson further highlighted that the marketing company’s actions were misleading the public by endorsing these unauthorized projects without the requisite approvals. This misrepresentation through marketing and promotion gives the false impression that these projects are officially approved and legal, contributing to potential confusion among citizens.
In response to this, the marketing company received a cautionary notice, instructing an immediate cessation of all advertisements associated with the illegal housing projects. The move by RDA aims to curb the promotion of unauthorized schemes and reinforce the importance of obtaining the necessary approvals before marketing or initiating housing projects.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
