Seven Family Members Killed In Car-Truck Collision Near Muridke

A tragic accident occurred on GT Road near Muridke, resulting in the loss of at least seven lives from the same family. The incident involved a collision between their car and an overspeeding truck.

According to reports, the fatal collision took place when the truck, traveling at high speed, lost control and collided with a car moving in the opposite direction on GT Road near Muridke. The impact of the collision resulted in the tragic loss of seven family members, while others sustained injuries.

The victims were identified as Shahbaz (22 years old), Zaheer Abbas (35 years old), Iram Shahzadi (35 years old), Abdul Wahab (10 years old), Ayyan (eight years old), and Iman Fatima (six years old).

Upon receiving information about the accident, rescue personnel promptly arrived at the scene. They provided on-the-spot first aid to the injured and then transported both the deceased and the injured to the hospital for further medical attention.

Punjab Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi expressed deep condolences for the lives lost in the tragic traffic accident. He directed the hospital administration to ensure that the injured receive the best possible medical treatment.

The incident serves as a stark reminder of the importance of adhering to traffic rules and regulations to prevent such unfortunate accidents.
