[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text dp_text_size=”size-4″]The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) is considering the possibility of delaying the upcoming elections due to candidates seeking changes in their allotted symbols. The spokesperson for the electoral body mentioned that candidates are opting for symbol changes after the initial allocation, prompting the commission to review the potential postponement of elections to reprint ballot papers.

According to the spokesperson, the process of publication and printing of ballot papers had already commenced after the initial symbol allotment. However, if candidates continue to request symbol changes through different forums, this process could face delays. The ECP is currently assessing the situation and ensuring compliance with its directives regarding symbol changes.
