Shan Masood Smashes First Hundred As Captain Against PMXI

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text dp_text_size=”size-4″]As Pakistan prepares for the challenging Test series against Australia, they are currently participating in a four-day warm-up match against the Prime Minister’s XI.

In an impressive demonstration of skill and leadership, skipper Shan Masood achieved a splendid century in this preparatory fixture.

Having won the toss and chosen to bat first, Pakistan faced an unpromising start as opener Imam-ul-Haq was swiftly dismissed, managing only 9 runs. Subsequently, Abdullah Shafique and Shan Masood formed a partnership, with Shafique being dismissed after scoring 38 runs.

After Shafique’s departure, Babar Azam joined Shan Masood in the middle, and the pair established a crucial partnership of 92 runs before Babar was out for 40 runs. Shan Masood continued his stellar performance, reaching a century and remaining unbeaten, serving as the anchor for the innings. Currently, Pakistan stands at 241-4 with Sarfraz Ahmed accompanying the captain at the crease.

Opting for a playing XI consisting of four pacers and one spinner, Abrar Ahmed, the Green Shirts are gearing up for the upcoming challenges.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
