Heated Exchange Erupts Among Players Ahead of Practice Match in Australia

Before their four-day practice match against the Prime Minister’s XI of Australia, tensions escalated as Sarfaraz Ahmed, Pakistan’s wicketkeeper-batsman, and Saud Shakeel, a middle-order batsman, became involved in a heated exchange during an intense training session in Canberra.

During the practice session, Sarfaraz and Saud exchanged words, causing a stir as the video rapidly spread across social media platforms.

Saud’s voice resonated in the video as he questioned, “How much longer do you expect me to be useful to you?”

In response, Sarfaraz firmly retorted, “You were never meant to be of any use to me. From the beginning, I never gave you any instructions, nor did I seek a swap. I carried out the exchange with the intended individual.”

Unfazed, Shakeel countered, “Yet, you still went ahead with the swap, proving my worth to you.”

Pakistan has arrived in Australia for a three-Test series, with the first match scheduled in Perth on December 14. Before the series kicks off, the team is set to participate in a four-day practice game at the Manuka Oval in Canberra, starting tomorrow.

Unfortunately, Pakistan’s journey down under began on a contentious note, as a widely circulated video depicted the team stranded at the airport without an official reception. This incident has garnered attention and sparked discussions about the hospitality extended to visiting teams.
