Additionally, senior PPP leader Raja Pervaiz Ashraf recently stated that Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari, the former foreign minister, would be the party’s candidate for the prime ministerial position. Ashraf emphasized Bilawal’s maturity as a leader and mentioned Asif Ali Zardari’s desire to see him as the country’s premier.
In an interview, Ashraf also addressed concerns about a level playing field in the upcoming elections, suggesting that the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) should take action if Bilawal perceives any imbalance.
