In the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023, South Africa is setting a new record for the most sixes hit in a single edition of the tournament. They are currently on a remarkable six-hitting spree.

In their seventh World Cup match of 2023, South Africa smashed 15 sixes against New Zealand, bringing their total in the tournament to 82. This achievement surpasses England’s previous record of 76 sixes set in 2019 when they were crowned champions. South Africa achieved this milestone in just seven innings, while England took eleven innings to reach their record.
