Sources have indicated that Inzamam expressed his dissatisfaction with the appointment of Shahid Anwar as the head coach for the U19 men’s team.
A spokesperson from the PCB responded, saying, “Inzamam was actively involved in the selection process for the U19 men’s team and the women’s A team, and we have not received any official information about his discontent with the board.”

It has been reported that Inzamam advocated for the appointment of former Pakistani cricketer Mohammad Yousaf as the head coach of the U19 team.
It’s worth noting that Inzamam and the PCB have a history of disagreements, indicating that this is not the first instance of discord between them.
Additionally, Inzamam recently took on the role of chairman for the Junior Men’s Cricket Selection Committee earlier this month, in addition to his existing responsibility as the head of the senior selection committee.
The senior selection committee comprises four members, including Tauseef Ahmed, Wajahatullah Wasti, and Wasim Haider. Meanwhile, the junior selection committee consists of a total of seven members, including Aamer Nazir, Javed Hayat, Mahmood Hamid, Naveed Latif, Salman Ahmed, and Sanaullah Baloch.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
