[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text dp_text_size=”size-4″]According to the spokesperson for Pakistan International Airlines (PIA), the airline has returned to its regular flight schedule following the acquisition of funds for fuel procurement. Yesterday, the national flag carrier managed to operate 52 flights on different routes, although two of its international flights (Islamabad to Jeddah and Lahore to Kuala Lumpur) experienced delays of over an hour.
For today, 48 flights have been planned on both domestic and international routes, with 32 flights set to operate on international routes and the remainder on domestic routes. The spokesperson emphasized their commitment to maintaining uninterrupted flight operations on crucial international routes, including Toronto, Saudi Arabia, Istanbul, Kuala Lumpur, and Dubai. They are also dedicated to restoring normal flight schedules on domestic routes.

However, it should be noted that a local media outlet contradicts PIA’s claims by reporting that more than a dozen domestic and international flights have been canceled on Friday. This includes the cancellation of 14 flights to and from Karachi. Private airlines have recently raised their domestic fares significantly in response to several delays and cancellations of PIA flights.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
