To please buyers and Honda enthusiasts, the company has stated improvements like an increased compression ratio, a redesigned carburetor for better airflow, enhanced pistons, a revamped crankshaft assembly, and changes to the head and cylinder in the 2024 Honda 125 model. They’ve also mentioned a new gear-oil pump drive, an updated gear timing drive, changes to the combustion chamber design, and reinforced engine mounting points for smoother performance.

The overall design of the CG 125 Special Edition differs somewhat from the base variant, and it comes at a higher cost than the base version.
