Pakistan And India To Compete In Super 4 Today In Asia Cup 2023

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text dp_text_size=”size-4″]India and Pakistan are poised for another clash today in the 2023 Asia Cup. The match is scheduled for 02:30 PM (Pakistan Standard Time) at the R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo. Last week, heavy rain forced the cancellation of their group stage encounter in Pallekele, so all eyes are on the weather this time. Notably, the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) has included a reserve day for this high-stakes India-Pakistan encounter.

In Colombo today, pending favorable weather conditions, India will evaluate KL Rahul and Jasprit Bumrah’s readiness for the upcoming ODI World Cup. Rahul hasn’t participated in an ODI since March, while Bumrah hasn’t bowled in one since July. To accommodate Rahul in the starting XI, India’s team management may have to bench Ishan Kishan, who has delivered four consecutive half-centuries in this format.
