The shocking incident came to light when Faiza’s maternal uncle filed a complaint, leading to the arrest of the culprit. Faiza, who was taken along for begging on the streets, tragically succumbed to her injuries shortly after being rushed to the hospital.

The police surgeon who examined her described it as a distressing case of chronic child abuse and neglect. Mian, with a history of drug addiction, is suspected of intentionally setting fire to his daughter in the Korangi area.
