They have installed a Face Recognition System, in collaboration with the Federal Investigative Agency (FIA) and Sindh Police, to effectively identify and apprehend criminals attempting to escape abroad.

The system is currently operational exclusively at Karachi airport, allowing immediate notification to the monitoring room if an accused individual is detected, enabling swift action by FIA authorities.

However, this system is not yet functional at other airports in the country, posing challenges in tracking down criminals using alternate airports for escape.

The implementation of the Face Recognition System at Karachi Airport marks a crucial step in enhancing security and law enforcement efforts, with hopes of extending similar systems to other airports nationwide.
