CDA to build more water filteration plants in Islamabad.

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text dp_text_size=”size-4″]All board members attended a crucial Capital Development Authority Board meeting that was held at CDA headquarters and presided over by Chairman Captain Noor ul Amin Mengal.

The gathering also included a vote of approval for the previous session’s proceedings.

It was resolved to open CDA Capital Medical College in Islamabad during a meeting. The Member Planning and Member State’s Directive for Allocation of Venue for Medical College has also been issued by Chairman CDA in this regard.

The CDA board meeting also approved the allocation of space in the Kahota Triangle for the Fire Brigade and Dispensary, while the dispensary, Fire Brigade Station, Chamber of Commerce and Industry Association, and other structures will be built at the place of the CDA.

The creation of additional filtration plants in various business districts of Islamabad was also approved during the meeting. CDA will build these filtration plants, but the business community will be responsible for their maintenance.

At the meeting, it was also approved to provide land to the FBR Academy. At the CDA Board meeting, the Sector C-13 layout proposal was also accepted.

A committee has also been established to investigate issues with residential and commercial structures that are situated near the borders of Rawalpindi and Islamabad. Officers from the Cantonment Board, RDA, and CDA make up this committee.

The Capital Development Authority Board Meeting later voted to approve the Archery Club of Islamabad’s request to remain in F-9 Park and to create three additional director positions for the CDA Planning Wing.
