The decision was made in response to the threat posed by VSCS Biparjoy, which is currently stationed approximately 910 kilometres south of Karachi.
During the following 24 hours, the VSCS is likely to increase more and gradually move north-northeast. It is then predicted to gradually move north-northwestwards during the next three days.
The VSCS, with its likely north-northeast course, is forecast to produce rain-thunderstorms, heavy rain, and squally gusts to the Sindh-Makran coast starting Tuesday night or Wednesday morning. Winds of high intensity can cause damage to unsecured and fragile structures
