[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text dp_text_size=”size-4″]A tragic explosion happened in Ajman’s Al Jurf industrial sector, killing two people and injuring three more. Both the fatalities and the injured were Asians.

Ajman Police received a call regarding the explosion about 11 a.m. on Sunday. The blast occurred at a factory, according to Major-General Sheikh Sultan bin Abdullah Al Nuaimi, Commander-in-Chief of Ajman Police.

According to reports, workers were welding on one of the tanks when sparks ignited, resulting in the explosion.

According to the Ajman Police Chief, the explosion was caused by a failure to follow safety regulations and procedures.

This month, Ajman Transport announced a cut in taxi fares. Passengers will now be charged AED 1.81 per kilometre, a 4 fils decrease from the former cost of AED 1.85 per kilometre.

The UAE Fuel Price Committee had previously announced revised petrol and diesel prices for June. Prices for Super 98, Special 95, E-Plus 91, and Diesel were reduced by up to 11.55% as a result of these improvements.

Super 98 now costs AED 2.95 per litre, down from AED 3.16 in May. Special 95 now costs AED 2.84 per litre, down from AED 3.05 previously. Similarly, E-Plus 91 is now AED 2.76 per litre, down from AED 2.97 earlier, and Diesel is AED 2.68 per litre, down from AED 3.03.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
