no talks with PTI

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text dp_text_size=”size-4″]The federal government has decided not to hold talks with Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan at this time, and no political or legal relief will be granted to the former prime minister and his party in the aftermath of the May 9 tragedy.

Furthermore, it has been decided that, in accordance with the law of the country, action against the PTI leaders and others involved in the May 9 tragedy will be pursued, and cases against the elements involved in the attack on military installations will be tried in military courts as soon as possible.

According to reliable federation sources, the ruling party is not pleased with the PTI chief’s announcement of talks with powerful people. The government believes that now that evidence of the PTI’s involvement in the May 9 incidents has emerged, the federation will be unable to negotiate with them.

According to sources, the PTI’s protest has harmed the country’s image on a global scale, and because the PTI has continued to make negative statements against the state, political negotiations with Imran on behalf of the federal government cannot take place at this time.

The federation is reviewing at the highest level that there has been no change in the PTI’s narrative, sources said, adding that it appears difficult for the federal government to hold political talks with Imran.

According to sources, the PTI’s main leaders are leaving the party after May 9, indicating that the party is becoming politically isolated.

They claimed that the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) government has made it clear that no political or legal relief can be granted to the PTI in the aftermath of the May 9 tragedy.

Following the attacks on Pakistan’s forces and state institutions, the federal government can show no political or legal flexibility with Imran and those associated with him, they added.

According to sources, the cases filed against the arrested elements involved in this tragedy, particularly those who attacked military installations, will be tried in military courts immediately and legal action will be taken against these elements.

They stated that if PTI leaders contact the federal government or any PDM party to continue their political journey, the PDM leadership will decide on a strategy for them.

If a political faction emerges in the PTI in the future and people join them whose narrative is to condemn May 9 and accept the state’s writ, talks can be held, but the decision will also be made by the PDM leadership, they added.

According to the sources, the federation currently has no plans to negotiate with Imran, but the decision to crack down on the PTI can be made in accordance with the country’s laws.

They claimed that a forward bloc of the PTI will soon emerge, capable of participating in national politics while expressing political distance from Imran.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
