[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text dp_text_size=”size-4″]On Saturday, a gas explosion in the Waris Khan neighbourhood of the garrison city killed a child and her brother and severely burned their mother.

Following the explosion, a massive ball of flames consumed the residence in the Chah Sultan region, according to Rescue 1122. As a result, two people, 18-year-old Faiza and 6-year-old Muhammad Asif, perished, and Farzana, 50, suffered significant burn injuries. Rescue 1122 crews went to the location and transported the patients to Holy Family Hospital (HFH).

According to family members, the house lady was unaware of the gas leak and lighted a match stick, resulting in a huge explosion.

The operation also included three fire tenders, three ambulances, and special rescue vehicles, according to Rescue 1122.

According to sources, the injured were being transported to the hospital, but two of them died on the way.

The fire reduced the house’s furniture and other belongings to ashes.

It took firefighters thirty minutes to put out the fire and prevent it from spreading.

Meanwhile, police confirmed they had launched an investigation into the fire.

The original investigation determined that the fire was an accident, but the case is still being probed.

On the same day, police captured 11 outlaws from various parts of the city and recovered drugs, firearms, and ammunition from their possession, according to a police public relations officer.

He further stated that the Islamabad capital police have increased their crackdown on criminal elements in order to eradicate crime from the metropolis.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
