Amir praised Babar’s technique and called him the best batsman in Pakistan while speaking on his YouTube channel.

“First, I’d like to question those who have misrepresented this situation. Show me one interview where I said Babar is an average or tailender player. In all of my interviews, I have called him Pakistan’s best batsman, which I am saying with my own mouth, and I have stated numerous times that bowling against him in ODI and Test matches is difficult due to his technique. So, would I classify him as a tailender batsman? “First and foremost, let me make it clear to these people,” he said.

The 31-year-old stated that his job as a bowler is to take wickets regardless of who the batsman is. He went on to say that whether it’s Babar or a tailender, every wicket is important to him because it benefits the team.

“My point was that taking wickets, whether it’s Babar Azam or a number 11, is important to me because it benefits the team.” For example, if 12 runs are needed in the final two overs and 8 wickets are down, tailenders should be playing, correct? As a result, they are equally important to dismiss. That was my main point. “Whether it’s Babar’s or a tailender’s wicket, every wicket is important to me,” he concluded.

Previously, during the eighth season of the HBL PSL, the left-arm pacer stated that bowling to Babar Azam or a tailender was the same experience for him.

Amir told a local television station that his job is to pick wickets regardless of who is at the crease.

“These types of matchups and player rivalries keep players alert.” “I enjoy these types of challenges because they keep me focused,” said Amir.

“My job is to take wickets and win matches for my team, so facing Babar or a tailender batting at number 10 will be the same,” he explained.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
