Actor and model Huma Saleem has publicly accused a Pakistani cricketer of harassment, intimidation, emotional abuse, and attempting to harm both her personal life and professional career. The allegations were shared in a lengthy statement posted on social media, where she described her experience and said she had decided to speak out after remaining silent for a long time.
According to Huma, she has not been in contact with the cricketer for the past two months. Despite this, she claimed that the alleged threats and psychological pressure have continued. She stated that she is going through a difficult period and accused the cricketer of repeatedly disturbing her peace even after communication between them had ended.
The actor said that every time she tries to move forward with her life, the cricketer allegedly reappears and creates mental stress. She added that no woman would willingly invite public criticism and social judgment unless she felt she had no other option left.
Huma further alleged that the cricketer contacted her relatives, friends, and professional acquaintances in an effort to damage her reputation. She claimed that after she resumed her work, people connected to her career also received messages that she believes were intended to affect her professional image and opportunities.
She said the alleged behavior was not new and claimed she had experienced similar treatment during their relationship. Huma also alleged that members of the cricketer’s family played a role in what she described as an ongoing campaign against her. Calling the relationship emotionally abusive, she said she had chosen to stay quiet for a long time but had now reached a point where she could no longer remain silent.
In her statement, Huma also alleged that the cricketer misrepresented their relationship to others and portrayed her negatively. She further claimed that she plans to reveal information regarding the cricketer’s alleged activities in hotels involving Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) funds. However, she did not provide any evidence to support that allegation at this stage.
Huma said her legal team is preparing documentary evidence, which she claims will be made public in the coming days. As of now, the Pakistani cricketer has not issued any public response to the allegations. The claims remain unverified, and no official findings have been released regarding the matter.
