In 235 innings, the right-handed batter surpassed the famous Javed Miandad, who needed 238 innings to score 12,000 international runs, to become the fastest Pakistani batsman to do so.

The all-format captain recently demonstrated his selflessness in response to a question about his amazing accomplishment by saying that he has never been preoccupied with particular achievements.

“You reach milestones along the way when you play with that goal. Giving performances should always be the goal. Records are a result of such mindset, according to Babar.

The batter, who was born in Lahore, said that his main objective is to perform for the success of his nation and that he has no desire to break any records.

With 1,454 runs scored at an average of 76.52 in the ongoing ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup Super League, Babar is now in first place.

The talented batsman became the player with the second-most centuries in T20 cricket earlier this month, breaking the mark for the most centuries by a skipper in T20Is.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
