A legal dispute has surfaced in Lahore between the city’s well-known Jeda Lassi and popular food vlogger Vicky Panda after the influencer claimed that the shop allegedly uses chemically treated milk in its famous lassi.

The controversy began when a video featuring Vicky Panda went viral on social media. In the clip, he acknowledged Jeda Lassi’s popularity but alleged that the business prepares its lassi using what he described as “chemical milk.” The remarks quickly attracted widespread attention online, sparking debate among social media users and customers.

Responding to the allegations, Haji Javed, widely recognized as Jeda Lassi Wala, strongly rejected the claims. He maintained that his dairy products meet quality standards and invited any independent laboratory to test his milk, yogurt, and lassi. Javed stated that if any credible laboratory report proves his products are adulterated or below standard, he would accept full responsibility.

Following the controversy, Javed initiated legal action against Vicky Panda by serving him a Rs. 10 crore legal notice. According to the notice, the vlogger has been asked to either provide reliable evidence supporting his allegations or compensate for the financial and reputational damage allegedly caused by his statements.

Speaking about the issue, Javed said he has been running Jeda Lassi for nearly five decades and has earned the trust of customers through years of hard work. He argued that making public allegations without verified evidence can seriously affect a business’s reputation, customer confidence, and livelihood.

As of now, Vicky Panda has not issued any public response to the legal notice. Likewise, no independent laboratory analysis or court decision has been released to verify the allegations made during the controversy.

The matter remains unresolved and may now proceed through legal channels unless both parties reach a settlement or further evidence is presented.
