The Federal Government Employees Housing Authority (FGEHA) has issued a public notice directing residents of Islamabad’s G-13 and G-14 sectors to remove all encroachments from government land within 24 hours.
According to the authority, the directive applies to all unauthorized constructions, including sheds, boundary extensions, fences, and any structures built beyond approved property limits.
FGEHA said residents have been instructed to voluntarily remove all illegal structures within the specified deadline. The authority stated that the operation aims to ensure compliance with approved building regulations and protect public land from unlawful occupation.
The authority warned that failure to comply with the notice will result in strict legal action under the relevant laws and regulations. Enforcement teams will begin demolition operations against all unauthorized structures that remain after the 24-hour deadline expires.
FGEHA further clarified that no additional notice will be issued before enforcement action begins. Residents have therefore been urged to remove any encroachments immediately to avoid demolition and other legal consequences.
The authority reiterated that the crackdown is part of its ongoing efforts to safeguard public property and enforce housing regulations in Islamabad’s residential sectors.
