The Pakistani Passport allows citizens to travel to several countries without obtaining a traditional visa before departure. Depending on the destination, travelers may qualify for visa-free entry, a visa on arrival, an electronic travel authorization (eTA), or an eVisa.
According to the Henley Passport Index, the Pakistani Passport currently provides access to around 30 destinations through visa-free travel, visa on arrival, or electronic travel authorization. In addition, many countries offer online eVisa facilities, making international travel more convenient for Pakistani citizens.
Visa-free travel allows passengers to enter a country without applying for a visa in advance. This option reduces paperwork and makes travel planning easier for eligible destinations.
Pakistani passport holders can travel visa-free to Barbados, Cook Islands, Dominica, Haiti, Federated States of Micronesia, Montserrat, Niue, Rwanda, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, The Gambia, Trinidad and Tobago, and Vanuatu.
Several countries also offer visa-on-arrival facilities for Pakistani travelers. These include Cambodia, Maldives, Nepal, Madagascar, Senegal, Samoa, Burundi, Cape Verde, Comoros, Djibouti, Guinea-Bissau, Palau, Sierra Leone, Timor-Leste, and Tuvalu. Travelers can receive their visa after reaching the destination, subject to local immigration requirements.
Some countries require an electronic travel authorization before arrival. Pakistani citizens can obtain an eTA for Kenya, Seychelles, and Sri Lanka. The authorization is usually completed online before travel and serves as permission to enter the country.
The Pakistani Passport also provides access to eVisa facilities in many destinations. Travelers can apply online instead of visiting an embassy. Countries offering eVisas include Albania, Azerbaijan, Bahrain, Bhutan, Indonesia, Malaysia, Oman, Qatar, Singapore, Thailand, Türkiye, the United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom, Vietnam, South Africa, and many others.
The eVisa system simplifies the application process by allowing travelers to submit documents electronically. Once approved, the visa is issued online and can be presented during travel.
Although these travel options provide greater convenience, visa policies can change at any time. Immigration rules may also vary depending on the purpose of travel and the length of stay.

Travelers are advised to verify the latest entry requirements before booking their trip. The relevant embassy or immigration authority should always be consulted for the most up-to-date information. Checking official travel requirements in advance can help avoid delays or unexpected issues during international travel.
