Karachi Faces Hot and Humid Weather as Temperatures Rise

According to the Meteorological Department, Karachi recorded a minimum temperature of 30 degrees Celsius. The morning temperature was recorded at 31 degrees Celsius.

Humidity levels in Karachi reached 75 percent. This high moisture level increased the feeling of heat in the city.

Due to these conditions, Karachi weather remained muggy throughout the day. Residents faced discomfort both during the day and night.

Officials reported that winds were blowing from the west and southwest. Sea breezes were also observed in the coastal areas.

Wind speed in Karachi was recorded at around 16 kilometers per hour. However, the breeze did not significantly reduce the heat intensity.

The Meteorological Department said Karachi’s maximum temperature is expected to remain between 35 and 37 degrees Celsius. The weather is likely to stay hot and humid.

Experts say such conditions are common during this seasonal transition. High humidity combined with warm winds increases discomfort for citizens.

In different parts of Sindh, temperatures were also high. Rural areas recorded even more intense heat conditions.

Dadu was identified as the hottest area in the region. The minimum temperature there reached 31.5 degrees Celsius.

Meteorologists stated that weather patterns may continue to fluctuate in the coming days. Changes in wind direction could slightly affect conditions.

However, Karachi is expected to remain warm until a significant weather shift occurs. Citizens are advised to take precautionary measures.

Health experts recommend drinking plenty of water during hot weather. They also suggest avoiding outdoor activities during peak sunlight hours.

Children and elderly people are more vulnerable during such weather conditions. Extra care is advised for these groups in Karachi.
