Toyota Yaris prices in Pakistan have been reduced by up to Rs400,000 as Indus Motor Company (IMC) announced a major limited-time promotional offer on its top variants. The decision comes amid growing competition in Pakistan’s compact sedan market, especially after the recent launch of new rival models.
The price reduction was announced as part of the company’s anniversary celebrations in Pakistan. However, the move gained significant attention because it came just one day after Hyundai Nishat introduced the Hyundai Elantra 1.6 Special Edition at a price of Rs6,449,000. Industry analysts believe the sudden reduction in Toyota Yaris prices is a strategic response aimed at maintaining Toyota’s strong position in the local sedan segment.
Under the revised rates, the Toyota Yaris 1.5 ATIV X with black interior has been reduced from Rs6,449,000 to Rs6,049,000. Meanwhile, the beige interior variant has dropped from Rs6,389,000 to Rs5,999,000. The sharp reduction has created a noticeable price difference between the Toyota Yaris and Hyundai’s newly launched Elantra Special Edition.
Experts believe the Toyota Yaris had recently been facing increasing pressure from competitors offering more modern features and aggressive pricing. Hyundai’s latest Elantra variant introduced premium additions such as powered seats, wireless charging, Tetra LED headlamps, and enhanced interior features, attracting attention from sedan buyers.
Despite increasing competition, Toyota Yaris continues to remain one of the most popular compact sedans in Pakistan because of its reliability, fuel efficiency, low maintenance costs, and strong resale value. The car also benefits from Toyota’s extensive dealership and service network across the country.
Toyota Yaris offers a spacious 476-liter trunk and comes with either a 1.3-liter or 1.5-liter engine option. Higher variants produce around 106 horsepower and are paired with a smooth CVT transmission. The sedan also includes modern features such as a touchscreen infotainment system, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, cruise control, airbags, ABS, traction control, and parking assistance features.
