Earlier in the same Test match, Shaheen Afridi achieved another major milestone. He became the first Pakistani bowler to take 100 wickets in the ICC World Test Championship.
He reached that landmark after dismissing Bangladesh opener Mahmudul Hasan Joy on the opening day.
With this record, Shaheen Afridi also became the 19th bowler overall to take 100 or more wickets in the World Test Championship.
