[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text dp_text_size=”size-4″]ISLAMABAD: According to Federal Information Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has not decided to seek a vote of confidence.
The information minister stated in a tweet that there was no such consultation and that it was unnecessary.

She stated that Shehbaz is the people’s, party’s, and coalition partners’ unanimous choice for National Assembly (NA) leadership on April 11, 2022.
According to Marriyum, this “fabricated rumour” is false.

She also requested that no news about the prime minister be published without verification.
Earlier in the day, reports claimed that the premier had decided to hold a vote of confidence on April 27 and that preparations for this had been completed.
It is worth mentioning here that this rumour and its rebuttal come at a time when the institutions have apparently come face to face with each other and political tensions are at an all-time high.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
