Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Faisalabad has announced a new date for the postponed Matric Exams and Class IX Group-II papers across Faisalabad division.
According to an official notification, the examinations that were earlier scheduled for May 6, 2026 will now take place on Monday, May 11, 2026. The papers will begin at 2:00 PM.
The board issued the revised schedule after postponing the exams earlier this week. Thousands of students across the division are expected to appear in the postponed papers.
Chairperson BISE Faisalabad and Commissioner Faisalabad Division Musarrat Jabeen confirmed that all candidates must report to their previously assigned examination centers.
The board also clarified that students do not need new roll number slips. Previously issued slips will remain valid for the rescheduled Matric Exams.
Officials advised students to arrive at their centers before the reporting time. Students were also instructed to carefully follow all examination rules and board guidelines during the papers.
According to the administration, all arrangements for the postponed examinations have been completed. The board said special measures have been taken to ensure fair, peaceful, and transparent conduct of the exams.
The announcement has provided clarity to students and parents who were waiting for an updated schedule. Many educational institutions had also requested the board to issue the revised date quickly to avoid confusion.
