Six Holidays Expected on Eid ul Adha 2026: Check Details

Following the tentative announcement of Eidul Adha 2026 holidays in the United Arab Emirates, residents have already begun planning their travel and vacation schedules.

According to early expectations, the Day of Arafah is likely to fall on May 26, while the official Eid holidays may run from May 27 to May 29. When combined with the regular weekend days—Saturday (May 30) and Sunday (May 31)—people could enjoy an extended break of nearly six days.

This longer holiday period is expected to encourage a surge in both domestic and international travel, as families look to make the most of the extended time off.

Travel experts note that many passengers are focusing on destinations that offer easy visa procedures, short flight durations, and ready-made tour packages. These factors help travelers avoid last-minute complications and make their trips more convenient and cost-effective.

Tourism agencies report growing interest in several popular destinations among UAE residents, including Georgia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Armenia, as well as island destinations such as Maldives, Sri Lanka, Thailand, and the Seychelles due to their affordability and attractive travel options.

Experts further predict that flight bookings and holiday package reservations will rise significantly in the coming days as more people finalize their travel plans once the holidays schedule is officially confirmed.
